Prior to centrifugation, tubes are loaded vertically. Once the centrifuge starts, tubes swing to a horizontal position, providing the flat-line separation that is commonly preferred for further analysis.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDesigned for use with 10ml tubes (16 x 100mm), smaller tubes (12 x 75mm and 12 x 100mm) can be centrifuged using the optional adapters (item: C3100-ADP).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith intuitive controls and a large LED display, virtually no programming or setup is required prior to starting a cycle. Simply select the run time and press “START”. The safety lid-lock is engaged and the rotor quickly and smoothly accelerates to 3,400 rpm.
