Masimo 9826 Rad-67 Pulse CO-Oximeter, Noninvasive Spot-Check Device with rainbow SET SpHb, SpCO, and SpMet Measurement

The Masimo Rad-67 is a handheld Pulse CO-Oximeter designed for noninvasive spot-check measurements in clinical settings. It combines Masimo SET® Measure-through Motion and Low Perfusion pulse oximetry with upgradeable rainbow SET™ parameters, enabling multiparameter assessment beyond conventional SpO2 monitoring. Intended for use by medical professionals, the Rad-67 carries CE marking and is not available in the USA or Canada.

Unlike standard pulse oximeters, the Rad-67 simultaneously measures SpHb, SpCO, and SpMet in addition to SpO2, PR, Pi, and PVi, providing clinicians with a comprehensive noninvasive hemodynamic snapshot in a single spot-check workflow. Results are displayed with signal quality indicators for motion, low perfusion, and ambient light interference, supporting confident clinical decision-making at the point of care.

Next-Generation SpHb Technology

The Rad-67 features an advanced SpHb platform delivering results in under 30 seconds with improved repeatability and enhanced motion tolerance. A gender selection function accounts for differing average hemoglobin ranges between male and female patients, further refining measurement accuracy. This next-generation SpHb capability represents a meaningful upgrade over earlier Masimo spot-check platforms.

Design and Usability

The device features an intuitive touchscreen interface supporting finger-gesture navigation for rapid menu access. A redesigned sensor connector with a slim profile provides tactile confirmation of correct connection. An ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the HD color LCD brightness for optimal visibility across varied clinical environments. Spot-check results can be tagged with unique patient IDs for direct on-device historical data review.
