The EVAC+CHAIR® 400H is an advanced, US-designed emergency stair chair engineered for the safe, single-operator evacuation of mobility-impaired individuals from multi-story buildings during emergencies such as fires, power outages, earthquakes, or other critical situations where elevators are unavailable. Building on the award-winning 300H platform and developed in collaboration with occupational therapists, the 400H offers superior ergonomics, increased weight capacity, and enhanced clinical support while remaining lightweight and easy to use.

With a 440 lb (200 kg) weight capacity, wider Evac+Track™ friction-controlled tracks with adjustable tension, ergonomic armrests and footrest, dual-position seat, and 4-point quick-release harness, this model ensures comfort, security, and controlled descent for both passenger and operator. The chair folds compactly for storage and is wall-mountable for quick access in evacuation zones.
