Proudly made in the USA (Fond du Lac, Wisconsin) by Basic American / Graham-Field, it features the patented Slide-W-I-D-E® integrated expandable deck for effortless width adjustment (36" standard / 39" / 42" with quick-release pins), adjustable length (80"–84"), and a sturdy grid sleep surface with cross braces for superior mattress support (no sag or bottoming out with heavier patients). The bed includes sealed ball bearings for smooth, quiet, maintenance-free movement, SilverSolutions antimicrobial powder coating for surface protection, synchronized Hi-Lo motors to keep the bed level, battery backup, and deluxe casters (standard or pedal-lock options). APS models support optional Trend/Reverse Trendelenburg and Chair positioning via plug-and-play digital electronics.
