The Drive Delta 1000 Ultra-Light Semi-Electric Bed offers a versatile and durable homecare sleep solution engineered for patient safety and caregiver convenience. Its universal frame integrates seamlessly with Drive and most other manufacturers' bed ends, utilizing a foot-section transition box that enables easy rotation changes for the high/low shaft. Designed with a break- and scratch-resistant wood grain headboard that sits taller than the footboard to blend into home decor, this bed features a channel frame construction paired with a zinc-coated spring deck for maximum strength and reduced overall weight.

A completely self-contained motor operates smoothly to adjust deck height from 9.25 inches to 23 inches while minimizing noise during repositioning. For added safety, the bed unit, side rails, and mattress are rigorously safety-tested by SGS and satisfy all applicable FDA entrapment guidelines, while the motor itself holds UL approval. In the event of a power outage, a 9-volt battery located in the large, user-friendly hand pendant can lower the head and foot sections up to nine times.
