Gradient, Mini or Multi-Block?
If you are optimizing new primers, a gradient block like the TC-9639 tests a range of annealing temperatures in one run. The TC-96 Turbo 2D extends that to a second axis. Shared labs where several people queue for the cycler get more from the MultiCycler. For teaching, the TC-32 Mini saves bench space.
Which Accuris Kit?
Pick by template and goal. The high-fidelity kit is for cloning and sequencing where errors matter. The one-step RT-PCR kit goes from RNA to product in one tube. The fast extraction kit skips a separate DNA prep. Run results on high-resolution PCR-grade agarose.
Do I need a gradient thermal cycler?
