Analytical (0.1 mg) or Semi-Micro (0.01 mg)?
Most formulation, QC and teaching work runs at 0.1 mg, which covers the LAB-124i, SAB-514i and EAB-514i. Step down to 0.01 mg with the SAB-225i only when your method or minimum sample weight calls for it: semi-micro weighing is more sensitive to drafts and room conditions.
Internal or External Calibration?
Models ending in "i", like the LAB-124i, calibrate themselves with a built-in weight, which helps when room temperature shifts through the day. The LAB-214e uses an external calibration weight: lower cost, but someone has to run the routine. Regulated labs usually choose internal.
What capacity analytical balance do I need?
Add your heaviest container to your largest sample and leave headroom. Around 120 g suits vials and weigh boats. At about 210 to 220 g you can use small beakers. The 510 g models handle heavier glassware without losing 0.1 mg resolution.
Adam or Accuris?
Both are established lab lines. Adam offers three series here, so you can match calibration type and capacity closely. Accuris makes sense if your lab already runs Benchmark equipment and wants one vendor for service. Ask for a quote on either.
Can I order several balances for a teaching or QC lab?
Yes. Multi-unit orders for teaching labs and QC rooms are handled by our equipment specialists. Submit a quote request with quantities and required readability.
