Active Refrigerator or Passive Transport Kit?
If you have to show a temperature record, you want an active unit. The PharmaRoam 8 and PharmaRoam 15 hold +2C to +8C under compressor control and display it. A passive kit like the BioShip 602SS is built for validated specimen shipping, where the packaging itself is the qualification. Both are correct answers to different questions.
How Much Capacity for a Clinic Day?
Under 15 litres covers a single route or a handful of doses. A full vaccination day usually needs the PharmaRoam 60, which runs on AC at the site and battery in transit. For outreach at scale, go to the PharmaRoam 100.
Can I use one of these as my clinic's main vaccine refrigerator?
No. Portable units are built for transport, not for daily storage against CDC and VFC requirements. For the primary storage unit, use an NSF/ANSI 456 certified refrigerator. Keep the portable unit for moving stock.
Will these run off a vehicle's 12V outlet?
The Accucold SPRF units are designed for 12V operation and switch to AC at the destination. The Roemer PharmaRoam models run on their own battery packs with AC charging, and the larger ones accept AC power directly while in use. Confirm the exact power configuration on each product page before ordering for a vehicle install.
Do you supply these to mobile clinic programs in volume?
Yes. Multi-unit orders for outreach programs, public health departments and home health agencies are handled by our equipment specialists. Submit a quote request with unit count and route profile.
