The Nest Scientific 6 Well Cell Culture Plate (703001) is designed to support cell culture research, drug screening, cell-based assays, ELISA, and microscopy applications. Molded and packed in an ISO 7 cleanroom from optically clear USP grade VI virgin polystyrene, each plate features a plasma-etched TC-treated surface that promotes optimal cell attachment for adherent cell lines. The flat-bottom wells provide a 9.5 cm² growth area and accommodate a working volume of 1.9 to 2.9 mL (1900 to 2900 µL) per well. Designed with standard SBS/ANSI footprint dimensions, these plates ensure full compatibility with automated liquid handlers, plate readers, and laboratory automation equipment.
Clear alphanumeric markings enable effortless sample identification, while raised well edges slow evaporation during incubation. Additionally, small feet on the bottom of the plate protect microscope objectives from scratching, notched bottoms with raised edges allow for stable stacking, and printed lot numbers ensure complete batch traceability. E-beam sterilized to achieve a SAL of 10⁻⁶, each plate is individually wrapped in a peelable film blister pack (50 plates per case) and certified non-pyrogenic, free of DNase/RNase, human DNA, cytotoxins, and animal-derived products in compliance with cGMP, ISO 13485:2016, and ISO 9001 standards.
