The Malte can be fitted with a parking brake to prevent the walker from rolling away unintentionally. When seated, it secures the walker from movement. Mounts to the handgrip that has forearm pads installed. To set the brake puill the handle upward and secure the red catch. To release, pull the handle and pull the red catch to release. 

Parking brakes are standard feature on the Malte Outdoor models

Parking handbrakes cannot be use with forearm supports that have grip ball.
