ACCUCOLD ABOD6LHD is a 6 cu.ft. BOD refrigerated/heated incubator designed and purpose-built to ensure stable temperature conditions for BOD testing, microbiological storage, water treatment centers, environmental laboratories, and research facilities. Pre-set at 20°C for ideal bottle incubation, this unit offers an adjustable temperature range from 4 to 60°C (39.2 to 140°F) with ±1°C variation for precise sample preservation and testing accuracy.

The microprocessor temperature controller is externally located to reduce door openings and protect stored contents from ambient temperature changes. Buffered temperature probe technology with a glycol-filled bottle simulates stored product temperature more accurately, while an additional air sensor ensures excellent temperature stability and rapid recovery. The large digital LED display provides current, min/max, and resettable temperature readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree.

The unit includes visual and audible alarms for temperature deviation, power failure, sensor failure, and door open conditions. Remote alarm contacts and a pre-installed 1/2" access port on the right wall allow connection to external monitoring systems and additional probes. Password protection helps prevent unauthorized parameter adjustments.

Inside, the ABOD6LHD features adjustable cycle automatic defrost to reduce temperature spikes and ice buildup, optimized forced-air cooling with an internal fan, and four adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves positioned at 1/2" increments for flexible storage of up to 90 incubator glass bottles (300ml size). LED interior lighting improves visibility while minimizing unnecessary exposure.

The white powder-coated interior improves durability and temperature retention, while the exterior includes an antimicrobial silver ion-coated handle, factory-installed keyed lock with two keys, magnetic door gasket, self-closing door, hospital-grade cord with green dot plug, and eco-friendly hydrocarbon refrigerant for environmentally responsible operation.
