Uses a 95kPa biohazard bag (secondary container), complete with absorbent, dry ice label, instructions, cooler and outer fiberboard box. This package system meets all requirements of IATA/ICAO Packing Instruction 650 for air shipment, and all requirements of domestic and international regulations for ground transportation of diagnostic specimens.

This kit is for the customer that needs a compliant diagnostic specimen dry ice shipper that can ship multiple primary receptacles.

Standard Features

• Meets the requirements of IATA/ICAO Packing Instructions 650 for shipping Diagnostic Specimens by air, as well as CFR 49 § 173.199 for ground transportation of these items.
• Secondary container passes 95kPa.
• This pack is capable of holding 4 bags of fifteen 15mL test tubes along with 2 lbs. of dry ice. This pack has been tested in this configuration and has been determined to hold the temperature, under average conditions, below 18 degrees C for 24 hours. This pack was also tested with 3 bags of fifteen 15mL test tubes along with 5 lbs. of dry ice. In this configuration the pack was determined to hold the temperature, under average conditions, below 18 degrees C for 48 hours.
• Outer packaging is marked with all regulatory markings.
