Clinton Industries Model 4-5080 Convertible Staircase is a versatile, durable rehabilitation and physical therapy tool designed for gait training, balance exercises, stair negotiation, and mobility practice in clinical environments such as physical therapy clinics, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and long-term care facilities. This unique convertible design allows the staircase to be configured as a straight unit or rearranged into a corner (L-shaped) arrangement, maximizing space efficiency in limited areas.
Built with steel fasteners, metal braces, pre-assembled handrails, and one-piece handle/rail support system, it features comfort grip molded solid hardwood handrails, all-hardwood plywood base with ultra-durable UV-cured topcoat finish, rigid bolt-through mounted handrails, full-width safety treads on each step, tough PVC edge tape, powder-coated 2" x 2" steel uprights, and brace-reinforced underside.
Available in two widths: 30" (standard) or 36" (wider for bariatric patients). Requires a minimum 9' ceiling height.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the size of the product, it MUST ship to a truck height dock (freight LTL shipping required).
