Clinton Industries Model 4-5500 Small Up/Down Staircase is a compact, durable rehabilitation and physical therapy tool designed for gait training, balance exercises, and mobility practice in limited-space environments. Built with steel fasteners, metal braces, pre-assembled handrails, and one-piece handle/rail support system, this staircase features comfort grip molded solid hardwood handrails, all-hardwood plywood base with ultra-durable UV-cured topcoat finish, rigid bolt-through mounted handrails, full-width safety treads on each step, tough PVC edge tape, powder-coated 2" x 2" steel uprights, and brace-reinforced underside.
The small straight design allows patients to ascend and descend without turning, making it ideal for smaller therapy rooms, clinics, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers. Requires a minimum 8' ceiling height. Available in two widths: 30" (standard) or 36" (wider for bariatric patients).
