Clinton Industries Model 4-5501 One-Sided Staircase is a compact, durable rehabilitation and physical therapy tool designed for gait training, balance exercises, stair negotiation, and mobility practice in limited-space environments such as small therapy rooms, clinics, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers. Built with steel fasteners, metal braces, pre-assembled handrails, and one-piece handle/rail support system, this staircase features comfort grip molded solid hardwood handrails, all-hardwood plywood base with ultra-durable UV-cured topcoat finish, rigid bolt-through mounted handrails, full-width safety treads on each step, tough PVC edge tape, powder-coated 2" x 2" steel uprights, and brace-reinforced underside.
The one-sided (corner) design maximizes space efficiency while allowing patients to ascend and descend safely. Available in two widths: 30" (standard) or 36" (wider for bariatric patients). Requires a minimum 9' ceiling height.
