Clinton Industries Model 4-6500 Adjustable Small Staircase is a compact, versatile rehabilitation tool designed for gait training, balance exercises, stair negotiation, and mobility practice in limited-space environments such as physical therapy clinics, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and long-term care facilities. This staircase features 1.5" diameter stainless steel handrails with end bumpers, fast and easy height adjustments with self-indexing spring action plungers and numbered height indicator strips (no holes to line up), second knob to eliminate side-to-side play for rigid stability, hardwood plywood base with durable UV satin topcoat finish, steel fasteners assembly (no glued wood dowels), tough Slate Gray edge banding on all edges, two full-width safety treads on each step, and a 450 lb weight capacity.
The adjustable height (36.5" – 50" overall) accommodates all ages from children to adults in 1.5" increments, allowing patients to ascend and descend without turning. Available in two widths: 30" (standard) or 36" (wider for bariatric patients). Requires a minimum 8' ceiling height.
