The Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare 14025NS Med-Aire 5 Inch Alternating Pressure and Low Air Loss Overlay System is an active overlay designed to prevent, treat, and heal pressure injuries in home or long-term care settings. It features 17 individual 5" deep air cells with a pillow feature for head stability, providing alternating pressure (10-minute cycles) and low air loss therapy to optimize microclimate control and pressure redistribution. The intuitive control unit includes a static feature, adjustable patient weight settings, and a visual low-air-pressure alarm. Equipped with a rapid-deflation CPR valve and EZ Lock/Quick Release tubing, the system is covered by a removable, fluid-resistant, low-shear, and vapor-permeable Nylon cover to protect skin from moisture and friction.
