The Drive 14029 Med Air Plus is a 10-inch mattress system featuring distinct side bolsters and offering both alternating pressure and low air loss capabilities—is an active, combined system designed to optimize pressure distribution, reduce shear and friction, and provide microclimate control. It is intended for the prevention, treatment, and healing of pressure ulcers in home or long-term care settings. The 10-inch high, static side bolster tubes running the full length of the mattress perimeter prevent the patient from falling out of bed or becoming entrapped.
