The Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare 14530 Med-Aire Assure Alternating Pressure Mattress System is designed to prevent, treat, and heal pressure ulcers in home or long-term care settings through active alternating pressure and low air loss. Its control unit features 10-minute alternating cycles, a static mode, adjustable patient weight settings, and audio/visual low-pressure alarms. The system combines 17 individual 5" deep removable air cells over a 3" foam base for power outage protection, along with a pillow feature, CPR valve for rapid deflation, and EZ Lock/Quick Release tubing. It is completed with a removable, fluid-resistant, low-shear, and vapor-permeable quilted nylon cover to protect skin from friction and moisture.
