The Drive Medical Bus Transit Tie-Downs (TR 8029) convert the Trotter Mobility Chair into a vehicle-safe transit seating system. Engineeered to meet dynamic safety standards, this set of four tie-down brackets anchors directly to pre-designated mounting holes on the Trotter stroller frame.

Tested in accordance with ANSI/RESNA WC19 Annex A standards, this system passed dynamic crash testing at 30 mph (48 km/h) using a 130 lb front-facing occupant. It works in conjunction with vehicle restraint systems conforming to SAE J2249 standards.

Note: To ensure full compliance with safety testing regulations during vehicle transit, the Trotter chair must also be equipped with a headrest extension and foot and ankle positioners.
