The Everest & Jennings Traveler® HTC is a heavy-duty, reinforced standard wheelchair manufactured with the same commitment to quality as Everest & Jennings®. Designed for optimal patient transport and hospital/clinical use, it features a reinforced carbon steel frame (double cross braces, heavy-duty 5/8" axles) with hammertone silver vein finish and embossed black vinyl upholstery with double inner lining for durability. It supports up to 500 lb evenly distributed and comes standard with a black painted O2/IV telescopic holder (included after serial number HYT039WC), fixed attendant push bar/handle, fixed desk arms, lock nuts on front riggings (anti-theft), anti-tippers, and tool-free adjustable elevating legrests with durable aluminum black footplates. The two-position axle and caster fork provide 2" seat height adjustment for hemi positioning. Rear 24" x 1" black plastic wheels with handrims and non-marking polyurethane tires ensure smooth mobility. Ideal for bariatric patients in hospitals, long-term care, rehabilitation, and home health requiring robust, high-capacity support and inventory control features.
