The Jeio Tech JB Series (Models JB-12A, JB-15A, and JB-18A) represents a premier line of Class II Type A2 Biosafety Cabinets engineered for biological safety, sample integrity, and environmental protection in BSL-1, BSL-2, and BSL-3 laboratory environments. Certified to European EN 12469:2000 standards, the JB series replaces conventional HEPA filtration with high-efficiency ULPA filters capable of removing 99.999% of airborne particulates down to 0.1–0.3 µm.

At the core of the JB Series is an energy-efficient Electronically Commutated Motor (ECM) that maintains precise, constant airflow velocities (0.53 m/s inflow and 0.31 m/s downflow at 210 mm sash height) even under unstable line voltages or increasing filter resistance. Designed with user ergonomics and contamination prevention in mind, each cabinet features a seamless 304 stainless steel interior, removable working tray segments with integrated handles, a built-in drain valve, an ergonomic front armrest, and magnetic STS 304 side walls for holding protocols.

Smart IoT connectivity interlocks sash position with UV sterilization, fluorescent lighting, and blower controls while enabling hands-free Bluetooth tablet operation and optional real-time smartphone push alerts (LC GreenBox) or 21 CFR Part 11 compliant audit tracking (LC DataKeeper).
