KT Health Blister Prevention Tape is applied before the blister forms, not after. The strips are a synthetic non-woven fabric that sits between skin and whatever is rubbing it, which is why athletes put it on heels, toes and the balls of the feet before a long session rather than dealing with hot spots afterwards.

The adhesive is strong enough to hold through training, and the fabric conforms closely to the skin so it does not restrict movement. KT Tape states that barrier tape has been shown to reduce the occurrence of blisters.*

Strips arrive precut at 3.5 inches long, with rounded edges that improve adhesion and keep the tape from fraying at the corners. Every format holds 30 strips: the Regular and Wide boxes hold 30 strips of a single width, while the Multipack splits the same total between the two widths. It is also usable on hands and fingers wherever equipment rubs.
