The KT Health Blister Treatment Patch is for the blister you already have. It is a hydrocolloid gel patch that seals over the blister and keeps working while you keep moving, which is the point of it: heels, toes and hands are exactly the places that keep rubbing after the damage is done.
The gel forms a fully waterproof seal over the wound, shutting out moisture and further friction. According to KT Tape, hydrocolloids maintain a moist wound environment and have been shown to heal minor cuts, scrapes, abrasions, blisters and scalds up to twice as fast as a plain dry bandage.* The manufacturer also reports reduced pain, friction and scarring compared with leaving the blister uncovered.**
The adhesive is strong enough to stay put for up to 7 days through training and sweat, and the patch stays flexible and comfortable while worn. Patches arrive in sterile packaging.
