KT Tape Soothe is a breathable cotton kinesiology tape whose adhesive layer is infused with lavender and magnesium. The lavender is intended to work as aromatherapy while the tape is worn, so the strip does two jobs at once: it supports the muscle or joint underneath and adds a calming scent to a recovery session.

According to KT Tape, the cotton construction moves with the body and helps increase local blood flow while easing pain and muscle soreness.^{* †} The elastic core gives support to muscles, joints and tendons without cutting into range of motion, which makes it usable on rest days as well as training days.

Strips arrive precut with rounded corners that help keep edges from catching on clothing or fraying. Each box holds 20 strips, and the adhesive is rated by the manufacturer to hold for up to 3 days. A resealable pouch is provided for storing unused strips.

KT Tape states that Soothe is latex-free, hypoallergenic and natural rubber-free. If you have sensitive skin or are prone to irritation, KT Tape recommends testing a small piece applied with no stretch on tougher skin such as the knee or forearm before wider use.
