+2 °C SafetyDevice: If the temperature falls below +2 °C due to a malfunction while the temperature setting is at +5 °C or higher, the SafetyDevice takes control, stabilizing the temperature, activating the alarm and protecting the contents from freezing. At colder settings, this activation threshold decreases relatively with the temperature setting.

Additional access port for calibration: An additional feedthrough can be retrofitted for regular calibrations or measurements. For this purpose, a hole is drilled for a cable inlet with a maximum diameter of 1.5 in. at a specially designated location.
