LW Scientific BioVID 4K 8 Megapixel Ultra HD C-Mount Microscope Camera, 30 fps 4K HDMI Video, SD Card Capture, PC and Mac Software
The LW Scientific BioVID 4K is an 8 megapixel Ultra HD camera for trinocular microscopes with a C-mount. It streams 3840 x 2160 video to a 4K TV, monitor or projector over HDMI, saves images and video to the included SD card, and connects to a computer over USB with the included software. A USB mouse runs the on-screen control panel when no computer is connected.
Per LW Scientific, the camera is designed for client education and live presentations, with a sensitive Sony sensor that keeps resolution and frame rate in low light and at high magnification. Per LW Scientific, the monitor in the monitor kit is a 1080p display and will not show the camera's full 4K resolution.
