The LW Scientific i4 Lumin pairs the i4 laboratory microscope with the Lumin LED epi-fluorescence module. It is built for clinical, research and teaching labs that need fluorescence and standard viewing on one stand, with Infinity Plan objectives for flat, sharp images across the field.

Per LW Scientific, the LED light source gives brighter, more stable illumination than mercury or halogen bulbs, uses no mercury and does not need bulb alignment. Per LW Scientific, the modular design accepts other fluorescence filter cubes on request, and applications include microbiology and cell biology work.
