LW Scientific ZipCombo Brushless Digital Centrifuge, Interchangeable Micro-Tube and Microhematocrit Rotors, 6,900 x g Max RCF
The LW Scientific ZipCombo is a compact digital centrifuge for clinical, veterinary and research labs. It runs from 1,000 to 12,000 rpm in 1,000 rpm steps on a 24 volt brushless DC motor, and its interchangeable rotors let one unit spin micro-tubes or 40 mm microhematocrit capillary tubes.
Choose the configuration that fits your workflow: the 6-place micro-tube rotor, the 12-place microhematocrit rotor with a vial of 200 capillary tubes and an EZ Reader card, or both rotors together with the tubes and reader card. Rotors change with the included Allen wrench. Per LW Scientific, applications include blood, urine, DNA separation and HPLC microfiltration, with results in as little as 3 minutes.
