Designed to deliver a high-purity growth environment for various laboratory applications, these Nest Scientific 175 cm² cell culture flasks offer superior support for both cell attachment and suspension protocols. Manufactured from high-transparency USP Grade VI virgin polystyrene, each flask features a total internal volume of 400 mL paired with a standardized 120 x 188 mm footprint. The high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plug seal caps ensure a secure closure, maintaining controlled atmospheric conditions during cell growth and handling. Available in tissue culture (TC) treated surfaces for adherent cell lines (Cat. No. 709001) as well as non-treated surfaces for suspension cultures (Cat. No. 709011), these flasks cater to diverse biological research requirements.
Integrated design elements include clear lot numbers printed directly on each flask alongside frosted writing areas to simplify culture identification and sample tracking. Furthermore, the raised bottom edges facilitate stable, slip-free stacking to save valuable incubator space while protecting culture integrity. Produced in ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001 certified facilities within ISO 7 cleanrooms, every batch undergoes electron-beam sterilization to guarantee a Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) of 10^-6.
