NEST 3-Layer Cell Culture Flasks offer an efficient solution for scaling up cell cultures while minimizing time and handling in the tissue culture suite. Designed to maximize incubator space, each flask provides a total growth area of 525 cm², delivering the equivalent surface of three traditional 175 cm² flasks within a single compact footprint. The growth surfaces are plasma-etched and tissue culture (TC) treated to support optimal adherent cell attachment and growth. Manufactured from high-clarity USP Class VI polystyrene with USP Class VI polyethylene caps, these vessels feature ultrasonically welded layers constructed without extractable or leachable adhesives.
Each sterile flask includes a frosted writing area for clear sample identification, a printed lot number for full traceability, and a recommended working volume of 30–50 mL per layer. Available with either a plug seal cap or a vent cap containing a 0.22 µm hydrophobic membrane, these multi-layer flasks streamline seed train expansion, protein expression, and early-stage viral vector research.
