The Nest Scientific 384-well microplates provide a standardized platform engineered for optical precision, cell growth consistency, and reliable assay performance. Constructed from optically clear, USP Class VI virgin polystyrene, each plate features flat-bottom wells that undergo vacuum plasma tissue culture (TC) treatment to ensure optimal adherent cell attachment. Available in opaque black (Cat. No. 761301) for light-based fluorescence assays and opaque white (Cat. No. 761601) for luminescence assays, both variations feature opaque bottoms designed specifically for top-reading instruments.

Each well provides a 10 mm² growth area with a recommended working volume ranging from 15 µl to 110 µl. Built to the standard SBS/ANSI footprint, these microplates are fully compatible with automated liquid handling systems and high-throughput screening equipment. Additional structural refinements—such as raised edges to minimize evaporation, bottom-feet to prevent objective scratching, and alphanumeric markings—support rigorous cell culture protocols.
