The 48-well cell culture plate provides a reliable and sterile surface environment engineered specifically for cell growth and propagation. Constructed from optically clear USP Class VI virgin polystyrene, it ensures optimal transparency for precise microscopic analysis. The growth surface is plasma-etched (TC treated) to facilitate optimal cell attachment and uniform monolayer formation of adherent cell lines. Featuring a standardized SBS/ANSI footprint, these plates integrate smoothly into automated liquid handlers and robotic plate readers.
Designed with raised well rims and bottom support feet, they effectively minimize sample evaporation while protecting optical surfaces from scratches. Packaged bulk in plastic (10 per bag, 50 per case), this economical packaging minimizes material waste and streamlines high-throughput workflows without the need to unwrap individual units.
