The PHCbi MDF-C2156VANC-PA Cryogenic Chest Freezer provides air phase cryogenic storage without using liquid nitrogen as the primary cooling medium. Its cascade refrigeration system with auto-cascade low stage delivers uniform temperatures down to -150°C, while the integrated microprocessor controller and LCD display provide precise temperature management and monitoring.
VIP Plus vacuum insulated panels maximize storage efficiency within a compact footprint, and the standard integrated LN₂ backup system provides additional protection when connected to an external liquid nitrogen supply. The insulated locking lid with sub-lids helps minimize cold air loss during routine sample access.
