The Prius Ultra Convertible is a self-adjusting pressure relieving mattress system designed to provide dynamic support for patient care. The internal zoned multi-layered foam air cells utilize integrated chamber technology to constantly migrate air throughout the system, automatically adjusting to each patient's weight, shape, and size. The top layer features a Serene® Foam mattress topper that provides high-level immersion and comfort for high-risk patients.

Additionally, a multi-layer foam heel section offloads pressure from the lower leg to float the sensitive heel area, while full-length lower rail bolsters keep the patient centered on the mattress surface to assist in bed ingress and egress. The mattress cover is a micro-climate, vapor-permeable, fluid-proof, low-friction 4-way stretch immersion fabric that minimizes friction and shearing forces. For enhanced treatment and wound healing, an optional powered alternating pressure control unit and tube set are available to convert the non-powered mattress into an active powered system.
