The Summit BIM18SS is a built-in capable ice maker designed for smaller kitchens and ADA-compliant installations. Measuring just under 18 inches wide, this unit features a front-breathing design that allows for seamless integration under counters or freestanding placement. The fully wrapped 304 grade stainless steel door and professional-style handle deliver a commercial-grade appearance suitable for residential or light clinical environments.
With a daily ice production and storage capacity of 8 lbs., the BIM18SS generates crescent-shaped ice cubes in a removable bucket for easy cleaning and transport. The unit requires no drain or pump, offering flexible installation options in compact spaces. Frost-free operation eliminates manual defrosting, reducing maintenance demands in high-use settings.
Construction and Installation
The BIM18SS is built with a black cabinet and a user-reversible stainless steel door, allowing customization of door swing to suit layout requirements. A factory-installed keyed lock provides optional security, with two keys included. Additional chrome shelves accommodate frozen storage beyond ice, enhancing utility in multi-purpose environments.
