The entire cabinet structure is foamed-in-place with EPA-compliant, high-density urethane foam to ensure maximum thermal holdover. For access control and security, physical keyed door locks are standard to safeguard high-value samples and regulated materials.

The interior configuration is optimized for flexible layout management and organized workflows. It includes eight adjustable shelves that can be repositioned in precise 1/2” increments to comfortably accommodate containers, sample vials, media, or diagnostic kits of varying heights. Switch-controlled interior LED lighting is safety-shielded to protect sensitive contents while illuminating the interior space when needed. For easy positioning and mobility, the refrigerator is mounted on sturdy swivel casters with locking front casters. A pre-drilled 3/4" probe access port located on the rear wall enables effortless integration of independent external data loggers or validation probes.

Thermal control is governed by an advanced microprocessor temperature system featuring a clear digital temperature display, switchable between Celsius and Fahrenheit with a fine resolution of 0.1°C / 0.2°F. Operating within an adjustable setpoint range of 2°C to 15°C, the unit delivers stable temperature distribution with a maximum cabinet air temperature variation of +/- 2.5°C and a simulator ballast stability of +/- 0.5°C. A product simulator bottle filled with glass bead media houses the temperature display probe to accurately mirror actual liquid sample conditions. The automatic cycle defrost framework keeps the system running efficiently without manual intervention.

To protect critical inventory, the unit features a reliable alarm framework with audible and visual high/low temperature alerts. Standard remote alarm contacts allow simple connection to external facility management or central monitoring networks.
