Replacement Bottom Sub-Assembly for 3.5 V Direct Plug-In Rechargeable Handles

The Welch Allyn 71050-C is the lower half of the 3.5 V nickel-cadmium rechargeable power handle, supplied as a standalone replacement. It is the same assembly as a 71000-A handle without the removable top cap, and it fits the 71000, 71000-A, and 71000-C handle bodies. A rechargeable nickel-cadmium battery is included.

The bottom section is a direct plug-in design: the assembly plugs into any conventional 100–130 V wall outlet for overnight recharging, with no separate charging base required. It can also be recharged in Welch Allyn desk chargers, stand consoles, and well chargers such as the 71670. This makes it a practical spare for clinics that need a second power source without buying a complete handle set.

Compatibility

Fits Welch Allyn 71000, 71000-A, and 71000-C rechargeable handles and powers all Welch Allyn 3.5 V instrument heads, including otoscope and ophthalmoscope heads. Instrument heads are not included and must be ordered separately.
