The H1 is two machines in one frame. With the handrail up it is a compact treadmill for jogging at up to 5 mph; with the handrail folded down it becomes a flat walking pad that slides under a standing desk. That is the whole point of the design, and it is what separates the H1 from the H1 Plus.

The brushless motor is rated at 2.0 peak HP, and the deck is cushioned with EVA and PET to take some of the load off knees and ankles. The LED screen shows speed, time, distance and calories, and speed is set by remote or through an app; per WalkingPad it works with Kinomap and the HitGo app. It arrives fully assembled and rolls on built-in wheels.
