The MATE-FB1 is built for a room that is not a gym. Seat and backrest both set to several angles across incline, flat and decline, and when the session is over a single pull folds the bench down to a block small enough to go in a cupboard. Per WalkingPad that cuts the storage space by around 80 percent compared with a fixed bench.

A strap is built into the frame so the folded bench can be carried in one hand. The frame is reinforced steel in 50 by 50 mm tubing with a 1.5 mm wall, roughly 16 gauge, the foam-padded foot anchor holds the feet for core work, and the cover wipes clean. It comes in black or a gray and pink finish.
