The WalkingPad MRB1 is an upright indoor cycle built around a 13.2 lb cast iron flywheel and a non-contact magnetic resistance unit. Resistance is stepless rather than clicked through fixed stages, so the rider turns the knob from an easy warm-up to a hard climb without a break in the pedal stroke.

Because nothing touches the flywheel, there is no friction pad to wear out and very little noise. Per WalkingPad the bike runs under 25 dB, which puts it in reach of apartments and shared rooms. The triangular steel frame carries up to 300 lb, the seat and handlebar both adjust, and a bottle holder, a device mount and transport wheels are built in. It needs no mains power and arrives for simple assembly.
