The WalkingPad R1 Pro works two ways. With the handrail raised it is a treadmill for walking and running to 6.2 mph; with the handrail folded down the deck becomes a flat walking pad for use under a desk. The frame is aluminium, and the machine arrives fully assembled.

It folds twice, so it can be stored upright against a wall in about a tenth of a square metre. An LED display on the deck shows time, speed, steps and calories, and the same data is recorded in the KS Fit app. Speed is set three ways: with FootSense, with the included remote, or through the app.
