The SC1 is a compact climbing machine for low-impact cardio in a small room. The stepping motion works the glutes, thighs and calves while the handlebars bring in the upper body, and because it is driven by steel cable rather than a motor it needs no power outlet and makes very little noise.

Handlebar height and pedal position both adjust, so the same machine suits different heights. The LCD display shows steps taken, workout time and estimated calories. The frame is reinforced alloy steel in a triangular layout with non-slip footplates, and loosening two knobs folds it flat for storage. Assembly takes around 20 minutes with the tools supplied.
