The WalkingPad X21 is a folding treadmill built for rooms where a conventional treadmill will not fit. The deck folds in half and the handrail folds down over it, so the machine stands upright against a wall or inside a closet between sessions. Transport wheels at the base let one person tilt it and roll it to where it is stored.

With the handrail raised it works as a full treadmill at speeds up to 7.5 mph, and with the handrail folded it becomes a flat walking pad that slides under a desk or a bed. A speed dial on the handrail changes pace with a turn rather than a button press, and the console shows time, speed, distance and calories. Workout data is recorded in the KS Fit app; on Android the interface can be opened by NFC pairing. Per WalkingPad, the X21 has received the Red Dot Award and the iF Design Award.

The X21 does not have an incline function, per WalkingPad.
