The WHITNEY® Safety Platform Walker from Wy'East Medical is an early mobility device designed to support safe patient handling and reduce caregiver workload. It combines a power-assist rise function, intuitive remote controls and a walking belt system for ambulation and weight-bearing activities in clinical settings.

Intended for hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and acute-care environments, WHITNEY® helps patients stand, walk and move between activities of daily living. Caregivers use the remote control to raise and lower the patient from a seated to a standing position, and to expand or contract the base for positioning around a commode, chair or toilet.

The walking belt, sold separately in disposable, washable and wipeable versions, has a removable hygiene strap that allows toileting access without removing the belt. Per Wy'East Medical, the walker supports fall prevention during ambulation. Accessories shown in some images, such as the basket, oxygen tank holder and IV pole, are sold separately.
